Best Pub Garden - Finalist 2023

One of the key features of our wonderful pub is our two gardens. Large well kept flower beds, with scented areas for sensory experiences. Wild life areas for butterflies and bees to help pollination. A custom built fort for kids plus a secret castle tucked away to give the children a sense of freedom from all the adults enjoying beers in the sunshine.

Not forgetting our dog station…with water available, dog menu and treats.

Each of our gardens have a giant tipi which creates a beautiful backdrop and provides stunning, aesthetic shelter for dinning in our gardens. These tipis are available for private hire.

Amazing to win this award! So proud of all our hard work throughout the pandemic and to come away with an award for our efforts is fantastic.

We opened our doors on July 4th 2020 after the first lockdown. Our team have worked extremely hard to transform this pub and deliver a fantastic experience throughout some difficult and stressful times. So it makes it even better when we are recognised for our efforts and hard work. There are lots of amazing pubs in our local area and everyday we strive to be the best.

Once again we are the only pub in the whole of Hertfordshire in any category this year and are immensely proud. This is essentially the oscars for pubs!

We've worked extremely hard over the past 2 years and are delighted to see our efforts recognised nationally. A huge well done to all our team for making our pub as great as it is.

Thank you to all our lovely customers too - its an honour that you keep returning to our lovely pub.

We'll be going up to the awards in October to see if we bring home the top honour so fingers crossed!
